As part of his mission to impact lives positively, Cyril is involved in a number of initiatives:

Cyril is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation (CRF).

Cyril formerly chaired the Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust (CRET) Advisory Board, made up of previous CRET beneficiaries, whose main purpose is to provide advice to CRET on strategic and operational imperatives. As part of the relationship, he delivers motivational talks to the students in addition to his mentoring capacity.

Cyril is a certified life coach and the founder of The Growth Switch, an organisation which assists students and young professionals with academic, career and personal development growth insights.

Cyril is a published author having written five inspirational and self-help books, all of which are available in both eBook and Hardcopy formats.

Cyril serves on the board of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), and is a former board member at the National Students Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) as well as the Finance, Audit and Risk committee at the Adopt-A-School Foundation (Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation).

Cyril is the founder of the Cyril Madiba Empowerment Foundation (CMEF), a non-profit organisation which seeks to reduce the inequality gap and halt the poverty cycle, particularly among previously disadvantaged communities.
